BREAKING NEWS: Send us the email of an active-duty soldier, and we'll mail them a copy of the script -- Anywhere in the world.

thumb_FF_SL5We present here a small sample of the final script for the movie "Freeze Frame," directed by Galit McCord and written and produced by Jonas McCord; so far starring Ben Browder with more noted actor names to come. After reading the teaser, think about the purpose of the film and how important it is to educate people about the true human cost of ignoring the pain of Post-Traumatic Shock Disability (PTSD).

If you find yourself agreeing, please purchase a subscription to the movie and help to make its filming a reality. If you do buy a membership, you'll be able to download the entire script along with its official autographs and illustration. The script will be available only until the budget is reached, making it a limited-edition, highly unusual gesture by its author.

Be sure to click the Pay Now button at the end of the script to subscribe. As little as $5 allows you to read the script before you see the film. Thank you in advance for participating.

FREEZE FRAME

FADE IN.

SANTA MONICA AIRPORT, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA -- DAY

GREGORY (GREG) CUSAK (Picture Michael Douglas): 58, lean but muscular, dressed in khaki safari pants, shirt and brown leather WWII flight jacket, checks out a single engine Piper Cub parked outside a ...

HANGAR

Above which a sign reads ..."NORTHERN AIR RENTALS".

GREG

As he emerges from beneath the plane.  Taking a clipboard from a flight mechanic, dressed in coveralls with a "Northern Air Rentals" patch, Greg signs on the dotted line.  Returning the clipboard, he shakes hands, picks up his leather back-pack and overnight bag, and goes to the cockpit.

RUNWAY, MURRAY FIELD -- FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER

Greg takes off and climbs toward the mountains.

DISSOLVE TO:

MT. SHASTA

14,182 feet above sea level, it's peak nestled in white cumulus clouds.

ANGLE GREG'S PLANE

As it flies by the mountain.

PLANE

Unzipping his back-pack, Greg dumps its contents on the seat beside him ...  A bayonet, a map, compass, canteen, pair of binoculars, boxes of ammo, and a '45 caliber automatic.
Reaching for the map, Greg spreads it out on the instrument panel in front of him.

POV GREG

As he stares at a location circled in red on the map.
